These lenses are Canon's first Super Speed lenses made and won an Academy Award in 1977. They were used most notably on the film Aliens (1986) as well as other great masterpieces of classic and modern cinema .  Fast and small, the glass elements exhibit less sharpness and contrast than most modern lenses, but more contrast and sharpness than the Kowa Cine Prominars. A truly unique warm looking set thad add a rich expressive texture to the image and the colors you get from them are simply impossible to replicate.
